Dear Families,

Swift Nature Camp is a Minnesota summer camp for boys and girls ages 6–17, combining classic overnight camp adventures with hands-on experiences in nature. Campers swim, canoe, craft, explore the Nature Center, and care for animals in the Camp Zoo — all while building confidence, independence, and lifelong friendships.At SNC we are very intentional about everything we do.

Child Centered, Technology Free- At Swift, kids get a break from screens, social media, and the pressures of school, diving into a nurturing, child-focused atmosphere. With the guidance of caring counselors and inspiring role models, campers pick up vital life skills like leadership, teamwork, communication, compassion, and resilience — all while having a blast with fun, engaging activities.

First Timer Camp, A Gentile Introduction- For younger campers or those new to overnight camp, our First-Timer Camp provides a smaller group experience with extra guidance and support. This introduction allows children to adjust at their own pace, make friends easily, and gain confidence in a safe, nurturing setting. By starting with a smaller group, first-time campers feel comfortable exploring new activities and discovering the joys of camp life.

Small Camp, Big Heart- With intentionally small enrollment, every camper is seen, supported, and encouraged. Swift’s noncompetitive environment allows children to try new activities, take healthy risks, and develop independence and self-reliance. These experiences build confidence, social skills, and self-esteem that last long after your camper leaves the Northwoods.

Growth, Confidence & Character- Swift Nature Camp emphasizes personal growth. Our staff model perseverance, teamwork, and respect for differences, helping campers set and achieve high standards for themselves. Children gain confidence and independence while reinforcing the values learned at home.

A Summer Home In The Northwoods- SNC is a home for adventure, growth and fun. All of this happens under the sunny skies only 2 hours away from Minneapolis Minnesota. We have bus service that picks children up at the Mall of America-Bloomington, MN, and the Minneapolis - St. Paul International Airport-Mpls. Please pick up the phone and give us a call.
