ADVENTURE TRIPS await you! Whether you are a novice or an expert, you’ll find that camping trips will be some of your fondest memories! SNC’s awesome counselors are there to help you every step of the way while you canoe down scenic rivers, hike through forests, and even take bike trips. We can’t wait to explore the world with you. Camping under millions of stars, singing songs around a fire, and jumping into waterfalls are just more of the fun you will have at SNC.

NATURE is bursting with life! At SNC, there are islands that need exploring, frogs that need catching, and ice cream to taste made from wild berries picked by you! Our Nature Center is filled with amazing animals to learn about and play with! Whether you’re a nature nut or someone a little nervous about the woods, we’ll help you find the best sunsets, spot highflying eagles, and discover what makes our planet worth protecting!

Minnesota Overnight Summer Camp with Animals -2024

Do you have an animal lover in your family? If so, this is the overnight summer camp for them. Swift Nature Camp we blend an animal petting zoo with over 50 summer camp activities, giving your child the best camp experience.

Minnesota Campers and parents, often tell us "I never knew you existed- You are the perfect summer camp for my child and only 2 hours from Minneapolis". At SNC we have been giving kids an amazing Animal Summer Camp for over 25 years. Our goal is to have children learn about nature and animal care at the camps petting zoo while becoming more independent while having fun. If you are looking for a Animal Camp or maybe a Science Camp in MN., we are the place.

Our campers tend not to be sports motivated but tend to be kids that play for fun and enjoy being outside, chasing frogs, learning about native mammals or having a nature scavenger hunt. Animals are just one of the many reasons why campers love Swift Nature Camp. Each summer children enjoy adopting a pet and taking care of it. We teach pets are not all fun and games, campers need to be responsible to feed, water and play with pets before any of their own play time. Responsibility comes first. If your child has their own animal they can bring it to the Nature Center to live at camp. SNC e are one of the few camps that allows children to bring their animals with them to summer camp. That's what makes us a Animal Camp full of pet lovers.

nature flyer Because we are small and not one of the Mega Summer Camps in Minnesota we can give individual attention to every child. Our 1st Timer Camp gives Science Camps 510 special attention that makes parent and campers happy alike...Maybe that's why 100% of our kids want to return each summer.We have found that when parents and campers find a kind summer camp that promotes positive values and makes their kid feel valued it makes everyone happy and campers want to return year after year. But it is more than just an active Nature Center, Pet Zoo, and Department of Natural Resources sponsored programs that keep bringing campers back to Swift Nature Camp it is our special recreational activities that include canoe and backpack trips, horseback riding, swimming, arts & crafts, team courses, archery, sailing, water skiing, tubing and sports, over 22 different land and water activities. Despite all this, it is friendships that bring campers back.
